Surveillance
Cases start as a CMR or a "Morbidity Events". Electronic Lab Reports (ELR) can be used to add lab results to the case. As contacts to a case are added, Contacts Events are created. Users may add tasks to be completed for each case and every encounter with the patient can be documented. You may also list all or a subset of CMR's that you have been assigned.

Investigation
As the investigation continues, the case can be routed to the appropriate jurisdiction. Disease Forms are created by users with appropriate entitlements for specific jurisdictions. The Disease Form Builder Tool, allows sophisticated forms to be created. When a case is created for a patient with a disease, all applicable disease forms are added to the CMR.

Analysis
Users can Search for events via full text and soundex and a variety of additional qualifiers. The results of the search can be used to open an existing event or to start a new CMR with the search criteria. The results of a search can also be exported to a CSV file for further analysis. Transaction data is extracted to a data warehouse and available for analysis using ad hoc query, report designer or OLAP analysis tools.

Administration
Administrators can create and update Users, Roles, and Diseases as well as Edit Code Sets and add help text to any field which eases customization.
