TriSano™1.2-RC1 is now available with Advanced AVR

The AVR features in this release include:

• A data warehouse database consisting of data pulled from the TriSano™ transaction system on a user-defined scheduled basis and stored in a PostgreSQL database.


• Ad hoc reporting using the Pentaho™ Business Intelligence Platform. TriSano™ 1.2 provides a pre-configured metadata overlay so that the Pentaho™Business Intelligence platform can understand the TriSano™data warehouse.


• Rich reporting capability to produce reports, charts and graphs using the Pentaho™Report Designer. The reports can be uploaded to a server, shared by others and run from a web browser.


• Data Cube/OLAP support through the Pentaho™ Mondrian OLAP server. TriSano™ 1.2 provides a pre-configured metadata overlay so that the Pentaho™ Mondrian OLAP server can understand morbidity events in TriSano™.

In addition, the TriSano™ Form Builder was enhanced so that the information captured by Form Builder questions and answers can be analyzed in the TriSano™ data warehouse.

Also, as part of TriSano™'s continuing development, design work was started on Electronic Laboratory Reporting (ELR). Initial development was completed so that TriSano™ can accept an HL7 record and hold it in the beginnings of what will become the ELR holding area.

TriSano™ 1.2-FINAL will be released in the coming weeks. It will include required enhancements and defect fixes discovered in user testing.
